Shayna Renée Hammond
Shayna Renée Hammond is the Founder and CEO of Lead For Liberation (L4L). Over the last two decades, she and her team have coached thousands of school leaders across the country to strengthen their leadership, transform their school cultures, and create the conditions for adults and students to thrive.
Prior to starting L4L, Shayna was the principal of the highest-performing middle school in Baltimore at the time, and before that, a national award-winning teacher. She led national teacher leader development at the KIPP Foundation, and supported principals across Baltimore City Public Schools.
Dozens of school leaders Shayna has coached have gone on to earn city and state recognition for academic growth, transformational leadership, and outstanding school culture.
