Clear Visioning Practice

So many manifestations of what we want in our organizations begin with a clear vision. One of the most catalytic contemplative practices we can do to clarify and accelerate our visions is to visualize what our desired outcomes look, sound, and most importantly, feel like. Here’s a practice that can support you in doing just that: Clear Visioning Practice

1. Set a timer for 3 minutes. Close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths, and audibly exhale each time.

2. Set an intention to visualize what a liberatory workplace looks, sounds, and feels like within your organization. What are you doing? How are people communicating with each other? How do you feel? What do you achieve individually and together?

3. When the timer goes off, take 3 more deep breaths and write down what came to mind.

4. Consider sharing what you saw with your teammates and be open to what new ways of working emerge.
